Moonstone
Stone of luminous cycles
Moonstone exists within the same feldspar family as labradorite, as a different light expression of light. Ancient Roman artisans carved it, believing it held trapped moonbeams. In parts of India, it was considered a gift of the night sky and kept as a talisman for journeys taken under shifting phases.
Its pearlescent glow comes from alternating layers of orthoclase and albite, thin enough to scatter light into a soft, wandering shimmer. This structural play creates its adularescent sheen, luminosity that moves across the surface like drifting mist.
Moonstone aligns the wearer with natural rhythms and supports intuitive listening and feminine activation. It invites patience, emotional flow, and a deeper awareness of the cycles that shape both the outer world and the inner landscape.
